The HPHA elementary program runs from October through to May and offers an opportunity for players to work on their individual skills with professional hockey skill coaches 3 days a week, following a structured curriculum in a fun learning environment.  Each day focuses on new skills which cover all  area’s of the game, Tuesdays we will work on skating technique, Wednesdays are positional (fwd/def) and Thursday will cover shooting/passing and stickhandling.  Players will receive 2 report cards with detailed feedback from the coaches on a players strengths and areas of improvement. Players will also receive 2 analyzed video’s performing certain skills on the ice that coaches will edit, break down and provide feedback on.

We understand that transitioning into high school is a big and sometime overwhelming time for kids and for the dedicated players they still want an oportunity to continue to develop and master their skills.  For these players we now have our HPHA secondary school program, this will take place twice a week immediately following their school day.  The layout will be very similar to the elementary school program but we will also break during exams to be sure that the players have time to focus on their studies.
