Dwayne currently works with the Washington Capitals (NHL) and the London Knights (OHL) and is responsible for their player’s skill development throughout the season. Dwayne is one of the first Hockey Canada Certified Skills Coaches a High Performance certification that began 3 years ago through Hockey Canada.
Dwayne also works with many NHL players and prospects, Major Junior players, NCAA players, as well as minor hockey players in Southwestern Ontario.
Dwayne brings over 22 years of professional power skating and skill development experience and has created curriculum for a variety of skill development programs that currently run in Canada and the US. His knowledge and understanding of the skills necessary to play at the next level allows players to develop under professional coaching by learning and mastering fundamentals and developing high level skill.
Experience:
Dwayne played 3 years of professional hockey in the East Coast Hockey League. Prior to playing professionally, Dwayne played 4 years of NCAA Division I college hockey for the University of Alabama Huntsville Chargers where he captained his team in his senior year and won the CHA scoring title in back to back seasons
Max has been part of the TPH family since the Spring of 2016. During his time with TPH Max has worked with a wide range of players in the Southwestern Ontario area including professional (NHL, AHL, ECHL, European Leagues), Major junior and college (CHL, NCAA) as well as many local youth hockey players and organizations.
Max has been involved in hockey development for the past 15 years where he has learned from a number of high profile coaches. Max has gained much of his skill development experience through his playing career. Some of his accomplishment include:
Kevin has been a part of the TPH Family for over 7 years. Kevin’s passion for player development, hockey experience and knowledge of the hockey allow him to be an elite coach with players of all ages. Kevin has worked with NHL, OHL, NCAA and minor hockey players and has helped development curriculum both through on-ice programs, skating treadmill protocols, off-ice shooting and stick handling sessions.
Kevin brings a true passion for the game as well as a strong desire to develop hockey players.
Wade has been a part of the TPH Family for over 6 years. Wade began as a student and is now one of TPH’s Head On-Ice Instructors. Having had success playing AA and AAA minor hockey, Junior C and Junior B, Wade brings knowledge and playing experience to his on-ice teaching. Wade has a great presence on the ice, running a variety of our programs, team practices and private sessions.
Wade is big part of the TPH family and continues to help young players develop their hockey skills both on and off of the ice.
Connor began as a player with TPH and is now one of our Head On-Ice Instructors. Connor helps run a variety of our on-ice program, skating treadmill and shooting/stick handling sessions. Connor’s passion for the game and attention to detail help him relate to players of all ages both on and off of the ice.
Connor has been a great instructor with TPH over the past 5 years and continues to help players develop and achieve their skill development goals.
Mitch is currently the head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Total Package Hockey, and for the London Knights (OHL) hockey organization. If you are an elite athlete or weekend warrior, Mitch enjoys building training plans and yielding results for all his motivated clients. Mitch preaches that results are a product of your own hard work combined with proper individual programing. Mitch’s attention to detail and ability to assess and modify programs provides his clients with the tools and information necessary to ensure that their hard work materializes into achieving their goals.
Mitch has spend time on his education in Fitness and Health Promotion (Fanshawe College) and Kinesiology (Western University) with a variety of specialized courses related to nutrition and strength & conditioning.
Trevor is currently the assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Total Package Hockey. Trevor attended the University of Western Ontario on a Football scholarship, studying Kinesiology and Health Science. His experience as an athlete both on the field and in the weight room sparked his passion to become a Strength and Conditioning Coach himself. Trevor enjoys creating personalized training plans for his clients and athletes. He strongly believes that results are a product of your own hard work combined with proper individual programming.
Trevor’s sports and training background give him a very strong foundation to help individuals maximize results and performance.
In addition to his University experience, Trevor has continued to educate himself through a variety of specialized courses related to nutrition and strength and conditioning.
